Theory

diving-theory-at-homeAt Oyster Diving, we believe learning the theory behind diving is as important as the environment within which you learn it. That's why we've chosen to teach all of our open water diving theory classes online (doesn't work on iPad). This allows you to learn anywhere in the world with an internet connection, at a convenient time and location to suit you. The PADI e-learning system is designed so you can learn the theory at a relaxed pace in comfortable surroundings such as your home, office or even in bed. You will have the full support of our experienced PADI instructors if you have any questions.

It normally takes 10 to 12 hours to complete the theory online depending on how many sessions you chose to do it over. Much of this time is spent watching entertaining and interesting video clips and answering multiple choice questions. Once you have completed the online theory simply print off your final scores and bring them along with you to the pool session.

Swimming Pool

PADI Diving Course in Soho LondonOur central London courses are located just behind London's iconic Carnaby Street in a state-of-the-art £11m leisure centre containing arguably the finest pool in central London.

This 30m long pool means that students have plenty of room to swim around in, practice their skills and fine tune their buoyancy. The pool is constantly heated to 27 degrees celsius and has a maximum depth of 3m (10ft).

Completing your PADI Scuba Diving Course

We will meet you at a lake in the picturesque village of Wraysbury close to Thorpe Park, M25, M3 and M4 motorways, where you will complete your four open water dives. The fresh water lake has plenty of sunken attractions such as boats, camper vans, buses and even a London cab. With several training platforms available it's a great place to practice your diving skills. We always say "if you can dive in the UK then you can dive anywhere"!

We also run regular group trips abroad for students who wish to complete their course with the same instructor and meet fun and like-minded people.

Alternatively our Travel Centre would be more than happy to provide you with a quote for any holiday or long weekend.
