If you've always wanted to learn to dive then our scuba diving courses in South West London are a great place to start!
There are two courses that are ideal for people wishing to start their scuba diving adventures:
This is a trial dive experience is ideal for people who would like to try scuba diving before signing up to the full certification course. For more information see our PADI Discover Scuba page.
To learn and practice your diving skills we’ve searched the whole of West London to find the right pool for our customers.
Situated in the summer house of one of London's finest mansion houses and close to the River Thames and Richmond Park, this fantastic pool has plenty of room to swim around in, practice your underwater skills and fine-tune your buoyancy.
Less than a 5 minute cab ride from Richmond train and tube station the pool is also in close proximity to Fulham, Chiswick, Twickenham, Putney, Hammersmith, Kensington, Kingston and Notting Hill.
Our scuba diving lessons take place here on a Sunday afternoon from 1pm to approximately 5pm. We then pop around the corner to the Rose of York, a family-friendly pub by the River for some refreshements and to sign your log books.
If you have opted to do the Full Open Water course we will meet you at a lake in the picturesque village of Wraysbury close to Thorpe Park, M25, M3 and M4 motorways where you will complete your four open water dives. These fresh water lakes have plenty of sunken attractions such as boats, a camper van, bus and even a London cab. With several training platforms available they're a great place to practice your diving skills.
We also run regular group trips abroad for students who wish to complete their course with the same instructor and meet fun and like-minded people. Alternatively our Travel Centre would be happy to provide you with a quote so you can complete your dives somewhere of your choosing.
The pool at Montrose House is in close proximity to the M4/A4 and M3 and is about a mile away from Richmond rail and tube station. On signing up to the course you will receive an e-mail with the full address details.
