Introduction to Underwater Digital Photography

wreck smlThe aim of the underwater photography course is to enable you to take good quality professional shots using an automatic digital compact camera that you can keep forever and impress your family and friends with.

This course is ideal if you have just purchased or are planning to purchase a new camera and underwater housing unit. If you haven’t decided which camera to purchase then we would be happy to offer you some advice.

mjgYour course will be conducted by Mark Grey, a professionally qualified photographer and Divemaster. His work has won several competitions and awards. The Royal Photographic Society recently granted Mark a Licentiateship in recognition of the quality of his images.

Oyster Underwater Photography courses go way beyond the PADI DUP syllabus. Not only do you get the speciality certificate, Mark shares his knowledge and experience giving you the skills and insights needed to take your own amazing underwater pictures.

Underwater photography is one of the most popular diving specialties, and the rise of digital underwater photography has made it easier and more fun than ever. This is why there are actually two PADI underwater photography courses. The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer course gets you going quickly with today modern digital equipment, whether you use a point-and-shoot snap camera or a sophisticated D-SLR like the pros. The PADI Underwater Photographer course is a more traditional photography course designed for conventional film equipment. The course is conducted by one of our PADI Instructors or Divemasters who all have lots of experience in taking underwater shots.

Prices include use of school camera (if you don’t have your own), materials. Please add £25 if you do not own your own camera.
